Introducing Bridgenorth Cinema – A Techmin Integration Showcase

At Techmin, we take pride in delivering audiovisual systems that blend precision engineering, aesthetic sensitivity, and user-friendly performance. Bridgenorth Cinema stands as one of our flagship integrations — a project where technology, acoustics, and interior design came together to create a truly exceptional private cinema experience. Teaming up with Benjamin Pro Audio and TMB Acoustics, our role was to integrate the entire audiovisual ecosystem, ensuring that every component performed flawlessly within the carefully engineered space.

Bridgenorth Cinema was designed to sit alongside, yet operate independently from, the client’s professional recording studio. The goal was clear: craft a cinematic environment that not only meets but exceeds the performance of a commercial theatre, while still feeling warm, inviting, and deeply immersive. Techmin’s integration work ensured that every visual, audio, and control element aligned perfectly with this vision.

With cutting-edge video, powerful Dolby Atmos sound, and seamless control systems, Bridgenorth Cinema is more than a home theatre — it is an integrated entertainment and recording space that demonstrates quality and reliability.

Sound immersion was a central requirement, and the system is fully configured for Dolby Atmos 7.2.4. Using seven ear-level channels, two subwoofers, and four height channels, the cinema delivers rich surround sound with precise spatial movement. Whether it’s subtle ambient detail or sweeping cinematic effects, the system transforms the room into a three-dimensional sound environment.

​The design​ ensures that all components — from signal routing to speaker assignment to room calibration — operate as a unified system. The result is a cinematic experience where audio and visual performance reach their full potential.

Bridgenorth Cinema – Acoustic Treatment, Aesthetics and Seamless Technology Integration

The acoustic integrity of the cinema plays a vital role in achieving the high level of performance the client desired. TMB Acoustics  installed the acoustic treatment, materials and colours selected that not only improved the sound but also set the tone for a warm, inviting atmosphere. Techmin worked closely with TMB to ensure all audiovisual components fit seamlessly within the acoustic architecture.

A notable design feature is the integration of the side surround speakers into the acoustic wall panels, ensuring clean visuals without compromising sound dispersal. The installation approach maintained precise speaker alignment while protecting the integrity of the acoustic treatments.

For overhead Atmos channels, Techmin mounted PMC height speakers using our custom brackets future-proofed for potential adjustments.

On the content side, the client requested an Apple TV streaming solution, which we integrated into the system with optimised signal flow and responsive operation. For processing, the cinema relies on an Integra AV Receiver, while Linear Research amplification drives the system with accuracy and power. These components were fully configured and networked by Techmin to deliver consistent, high-quality performance.

Every detail — from cable management to interface optimisation — was handled with the standard of precision that defines Techmin’s integration work.

Bridgenorth Cinema – Multi-Room Recording Capability and Studio Integration

One of the standout features of Bridgenorth Cinema is its ability to transform from a private theatre into a fully functional live recording space. Techmin installed network and audiovisual connectivity that makes this dual-purpose functionality possible.

Using strategically placed network points, the cinema is directly linked to the main studio control room, allowing audio signals, monitoring feeds, and communication channels to flow seamlessly between spaces. This connection enables engineers to record performances in the cinema as easily as in any of the studio’s dedicated live rooms.

When needed, the couches can be removed, making space for bands, choirs, or acoustic ensembles. Thanks to TMB Acoustics’ treatment and Techmin’s  integration of the speaker and AV infrastructure, the room offers excellent acoustic behaviour — ideal for capturing high-quality audio.

With these capabilities, the client can conduct full-band live recordings across up to five rooms, including the cinema. Techmin’s integration ensures that every room remains connected, synchronised, and technically reliable during complex sessions.

This dual-use design highlights the strength of the partnership between Benjamin Pro Audio, TMB Acoustics, and Techmin. Together, we created a room that transitions effortlessly between entertainment and professional audio production.

 Bridgenorth Cinema – Movie Production Previewing

The cinema also serves as a facility to test full Dolby Atmos audio with the visuals that it was recoded for, in a cinematic environment. So when movie sound tracks are recorded and mastered in the studio on the premises, it can be tested right there in the cinema. This provides a turnkey solution for movies produced in that country.
