Audio Infrastructure Upgrade for DJ Ganyani’s Studio: A Versatile Space for Post-Production and Recording

Known for his innovative approach to house music and chart-topping success, DJ Ganyani’s studio required an infrastructure that could support his ever-expanding production needs—ranging from detailed post-production work to music video audio mastering and even live recording sessions.

To facilitate this, we installed dedicated microphone points in both live rooms, all routed directly into the central control room. These mic points were strategically positioned to give maximum versatility, supporting everything from single-performer vocal takes to multi-mic setups for acoustic instruments or ambient recordings. This routing feeds into a carefully laid-out patching system that offers fast reconfiguration for different types of sessions.

Each of the live rooms was designed to be acoustically unique, offering different sonic characteristics that DJ Ganyani and his collaborators can use to their advantage depending on the nature of the material being recorded.

While live recording was a secondary focus, the studio’s primary mission was post-production and audio mastering—especially for music video content.
