Bridgenorth Studios

It was a joy to be part of a one of a kind project in Zimbabwe. This is a studio built in the suburbs in Harare, with facilities to accomodate just about any audio project. It boasts equipment of the highest quality, in two control rooms and two live rooms that can either operate independently or combined. With tie lines between rooms, you can have your vocals done either in the small live room or the “larger than life” live room. The rooms also provide facility for both analog and digital audio, with a network of normal analog audio lines and CAT6 for digital or audio over IP.

While provision has been made in the main control room, for future upgrade to 8.1.4 Dolby Atmos, both control rooms are set up for stereo recording and mastering. Monitoring is done through PMC speakers. All audio lines converge on Redco patch bays in the main control room. 

The points in both live rooms allow for IP connectivity in the control rooms, as well as connection to the local network and internet.

The facility also makes provision for connectivity from its guest room, art room, cinema and office, for simultanious recording through network connectivity all linked to the main control room.

Adding some esthetic value, we installed controlable LED strips in both live rooms and main control room. This has quite mood setting effect, especially at night.

The Studio was designed by Benjamin Pro Audio and the soundproofing and acoustic treatment done by TMB Acoustics.
